Freeing the Penguin for the digital era.
A iconic British brand Penguin is loved by many, but
in a time where story telling has never been more vast and accessible, Penguin needs to stay relevant.

Approach
Creating a series of Penguin poses and a brand ident, Penguin was able to embrace the digital era. Broken free from his lozenge on the spine of a book, his new found playfulness and intrigued meant Penguin was now able to host a podcast, fly in a hot air balloon, and even acknowledge social milestones. Other projects include creating the identity for Penguin Voices - an event held at the London Palladium to celebrate Penguin’s unique authors, and illustrating the identity for Penguin Platform - a space for young adults to discover and chat all things books across social channels.
